Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4, 1954. She is a comedian from Canada, actress, and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of many awards, including the Genie Award. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara made her name as an actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an comedy troupe that was based in Toronto. She was part of the main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara as well as Candy began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won the Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022.
