Lara Logan

 Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is an South African television, radio and war reporter. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece on 2012 Benghazi as "the worst mistake I have made in the last 10 years." In 2019 she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative-leaning media firm. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed to have been "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan was an assistant news reporter for Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she became a senior producer for Reuters Television Africa. After four years of working for Reuters Television in Africa, she began freelance journalistic work. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to write about such events as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
